Invivo sales up, positive forecast for 2025
Invivo has shared its FY2024 results and outlined plans for FY2025 at its recent AGM, with figures showing it is strengthening its presence in key international markets.
The New-Zealand-based winery is a crowdfunded company, supported by a community of over 800 shareholders.
Invivo reported a 15% increase in branded sales for FY2024, with steady growth in priority export territories. Sales in the USA rose by 117%, accompanied by a 124% increase in depletions (importer sales to customers).
The UK and Ireland also performed strongly, with sales increasing by 106%, significantly outpacing the overall New Zealand wine category, which experienced a 12.5% decline.
Domestically, Invivo expanded its reach, achieving a 9.5% increase in off-premise distribution points and a 10% increase in on-premise distribution points in New Zealand.
The company has noted a key milestone in 2024 with Invivo X, SJP being named one of Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines in the World for the third time - an achievement that it says underscores the brand’s focus on quality.
Looking ahead to 2025, Invivo says it is optimistic about the upcoming harvest, which is expected to lower wine production costs. The company also notes that the wine industry is stabilising as consumer habits continue to normalise post-COVID.
Co-founders Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron shared their optimism for the year ahead, stating, “We’re excited to build on the momentum from 2024 and we are well-positioned to deliver growth in 2025 in our key markets including North America and the UK and Ireland. We’re also looking forward to welcoming Graham Norton to New Zealand in 2025 during harvest time - a visit that’s sure to generate excitement in the wine aisle.”
