Entries open for NZ International Wine Show

Entries for the country’s largest wine judging competition have opened. The New Zealand International Wine Show will be accepting entries for the 2024 event until Friday 6th September.

Bob Campbell MW will return as Chief Judge with assistant chief judges Larry McKenna, John Hancock, Tony Bish and 20 senior judges.

More than 1,750 entries were received and assessed at last year’s show, with 264 Gold medals awarded.

Judges will also award Trophies and name a Champion Winemaker and the Champion Wine of the Show, to be announced at an awards function on Friday 18 October. The recipient of the Sir George Fistonich Medal as a Legend of New Zealand Wine will also be revealed at this event.
