New Executive Director for Brewers Guild NZ

The Brewers Guild of New Zealand has announced the appointment of Melanie Kees as its new Executive Director.

She will take over from Sabrina Kunz, who has led the Guild since 2018. Kees and Kunz will work on transition in late October and into November. 

Melanie Kees was previously with Otago Polytechnic where she was instrumental in getting its Brewing qualifications off the ground and partnering with the Guild on finding ways to develop the skills of the brewing workforce.

Prior to her time at Otago Polytech, Kees worked in a range of roles at membership organisation MotorSport New Zealand. 

The Guild says her expertise in marketing, communication and events will stand the Guild and its members in good stead as it builds on the foundations developed in the past few years.
