New Group Winemaker for Indevin
Indevin Group has announced the appointment of David Roper as Group Winemaker.
New Zealand’s largest wine company, Indevin’s portfolio includes Villa Maria, Esk Valley, Vidal and Leftfield and the company says that Roper’s expertise and leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the winemaking vision across the group.
David Roper started in the wine industry in 2002 after training originally in medical microbiology. Beginning as a Cellar Hand at Villa Maria, he has gone on to work alongside some of New Zealand’s most respected winemakers, refining his experience across multiple varietals, wine styles, and brands.
