Between The Lines Cold IPA is here

Tasman brewery Hop Federation has launched its limited release Between the Lines Cold IPA.

As the Hop Federation team says: “Between the lines of crisp, crushable lagers and hoppy IPAs lies the Cold IPA. Brewed with NZ Hop’s experimental hop NZH-101, this one’s no glitch. Free your mind, take a sip and start decoding the tropical, citrus and stone fruit flavours.”

Chief Brewer Simon Nicholas says “We were super excited to create this beer using experimental hop NZH-101. With such great flavour and aroma, it’s resulted in a delicious brew that we’re extremely proud of.”

He adds, “To create this Cold IPA, we’ve used a really light malt base to showcase the hop. We’ve fermented slightly cooler than our normal ales, producing a super crisp, clean and crushable brew, like a lager, but with the hop-forward flavours of an IPA – the best of both beer styles.”

Hop Federation Between the Lines Cold IPA is available to order in 50L kegs or 440ml cans. For details on pricing and ordering information, contact brews@hopfederation or visit hopfederation.co.nz.

Hop Federation are from Motueka, in the heart of hop country in the Tasman District. Founded in 2013, they are dedicated to producing quality brews using the best local ingredients wherever possible. Hop-forward, refreshing and high quality. Just good, clean beer.
