Heineken to offer barbershops in Akld bars

Heineken is to launch pop up barbershops in two central city venues as Auckland shifts out of lockdown and into the new “traffic light” system.

Distributor DB says that the pop-up barbershops will run from Friday 3 - 12 December at Chapel Bar and Bistro, (Ponsonby) and 9 - 18 December at Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen (Freemans Bay).

"A cold Heineken is always best enjoyed with good company, and we're thrilled that people can meet up again at their local bars," says Angela Appleton, Heineken Marketing Manager.

"We knew people would be needing to make hard choices about what to do with their first few weekends of freedom, with a visit to the local bar and a trip to the barber likely both at the top of the list. We thought we'd make it easy to do both with Heineken Barbershop, so people can come enjoy a delicious beer and get a fresh haircut while they are at it.”
