NZ Cider Day to debut on March 8
The first NZ Cider Day is to be held on Saturday 8 March, the Fruit Wine & Cider Makers Association of NZ has announced.
The Association says that NZ Cider Day will spotlight the craftsmanship behind locally produced ciders, showcase the unique flavours of New Zealand cider, and encourage Kiwis to explore the diverse range of styles.
It says the nationwide event will include cider tastings and themed events in pubs and bars. “This is a fantastic opportunity to bring together the cider community and show case how truly special cider can be,” said Jody Scott, Chair of the Fruit Wine & Cider Makers Association of NZ.
