Pals goes ‘Beige’ for summer

New Zealand RTD brand Pals has launched a new flavour for summer, ‘The Beige One’, a blend of Vodka, Pink Guava, Lime and Soda.

Pals is the #1 independent RTD brand in NZ* and is distributed by Federal Merchants & Co. The new Pals Beige release follows the launch of ‘The Red One’ last year, which quickly became the #1 vodka flavour in New Zealand post- launch**.

The minimalist beige can is a departure from the brand’s well-known pastel colour palette and plays on an April Fool’s joke from this year when Pals teased launching a beige flavour, saying they had “run out of colours”.

“The April Fools’ post had such a great reaction from our followers, so we thought, ‘Why don’t we just run with it?’” says Pals Co-founder and Director Mat Croad. “Putting Pink Guava & Lime into a beige can is a bit unexpected but it’s definitely original and pushes the boundaries, and that’s what Pals will always be about.”

The brand also celebrated gold at the Hard Seltzer Masters this year, with every flavour in the Pals range now awarded a Gold Medal at this international competition.

As well as select on-premise and retail, Pals Vodka, Pink Guava, Lime & Soda will also be available at select New Zealand summer festivals including Rhythm and Vines. ‘The Beige One’ will also be sold at all events at Go Media Stadium, Western Springs Stadium, Auckland Town Hall and other venues as part of Pals’ new partnerships with Auckland Stadiums and Auckland Live.
